Progressive Christmas.

I stumbled across this ornament at Hallmark and couldn't resist snapping a photo and sharing it (via Android) with my Facebook friends--intriguing and provocative huh?  You tell me: does this come across as a reflection of progress towards a more harmonious society, raw ignorance, or something else?

  1. Effort to be economical? Just kidding, this doesn't look like a result of ignorance on the behalf of the artist...and I sure hope it doesn't represent consumer ignorance. For some reason Stephen Colbert's "Another Christmas Song" came to mind—Christmas has so many stories associated with it, and so many values that can be obtained from those stories. And yet, the only value we're constantly being reminded of is "sale tomorrow! buy more stuff!"

  2. Commentary that while Christmas has become a more secular holiday, even Santa should bow to baby Jesus...?

  4. what do you mean "even Santa" should bow to baby jesus? The whole point of celebrating Christmas is because Jesus was born
